Custom built to your opening sizes, Elite 4000 Double-Hung Windows allow you to recreate the old-fashioned look of paned windows without their high maintenance and low thermal efficiency.
Durability
Featuring frame and sash corners fusion-welded into a solid unit, the Elite 4000 Double-Hung Window provides a permanent seal against air and water penetration. And since the windows are made of high-quality, multi-chambered vinyl extrusions, they outperform almost every other replacement window on the market.
Strength
A full interlock at the meeting rails and a commercial-type stepped jamb provide added security and strength to the overall unit. The stepped sill gives superior protection against outside elements and its two-piece sill allows for easy repair. Dual vent locks also provide additional security. Triple woolpile weatherstripping with a center Mylar fin controls air and water infiltration, even under extreme wind conditions.
The unique groove around the frames allows simple stacking and mulling of multiple units and easy application of supplemental profiles, such as nailing fins and brickmolds. Also, many options are available, including Comfort Ti-R Low-E/Argon Glass and colonial, diamond or single prairie grids.
