Designer Series utilizes an interior Double Glazing Panel system while Architect Series utilizes patented Integral Light TechnologyT that provides the historic look of true-divided-light, with the modern performance of a single sheet of insulating glass. Or choose the traditional sash profile without integral muntin bars with ClassicT Architect Series® windows.
- Aluminum-clad exterior protected by Pella EnduraClad® or EnduraClad® Plus fluorocarbon-based (70% fluoropolymer) finish system
- Sash and frame members are preservative-treated, select softwood to resist damage from water and insects. Clear pine on window interior.
- Sash corners are joined three ways (mortise and tenon, glue and metal fasteners) for increased strength.
- Corrosion-resistant hardware, including operator lever and lock handle.
- Wash hinges are provided.
- On larger units, the SureLock® system operates both sash locks with a single handle.
- Glazing can use double or triple-paned system including 5/8" clear insulating glass or argon-filled, multi-layer low-E coated InsulShield®** insulating glass for energy-efficient performance.
- Factory-applied jamb extensions for rectangular units available in 4 9/16", 5 3/16", and 6 9/16" wall depths.
- Designer Series-9 standard sizes and special sizes available on 1/4" increments. Architect Series-all units made to order available on 1/4" increments.
